We had a great stay. We just stayed one night on a trip and it was a nice hotel. Rooms were clean and updated. Staff was super friendly. Pool and hot tub was nice.

"Ok For First Time in Ames"

Another odd bathroom design with a door that slides closed instead of shuts. Gap on either side of the door provides no privacy while in bathroom. Elevators creak and whistle while moving and do not give confidence.

Checked in on a Sunday around 5:00, process was a little slow…not a big deal as the front desk gal was nice. Disappointed that the restaurant was closed. Room was super clean and overall I am happy with our decision to stay here.

Had to move rooms because toilet would not flush, and shower was also dirty in the first room. Room was hot then cold throughout the night. Pillows okay
