The stay this year was great compared to couple years ago. Awesome service for check in and new updated. Loved it😊😊

Excellent restaurant and nice rooms

Very nice rooms (except the pillows and mattress) but the service and the rest of the hotel was “meh”. Despite the room remodel, the whole place felt stale and dated.

This hotel has recently remodeled rooms which are well designed and aesthetically pleasing. Other than that, I found the rest of my stay either underwhelming or poor. I try to support non-chain hotels when possible, but my experience is exactly why many people avoid them. The hallways feel like a 90’s office building and are hard to navigate at first. The mattress was uncomfortable. The pool was always crowded with several families “camped out” at the tables all day. The location is technically on (or adjacent to) the ISU campus, but it is a ways (and across a highway) from the main campus and athletic complex. The staff were all nice, but there were operational and service issues you don’t usually get at a chain (the servers at the restaurant were shouting across the room, there was an issue with my room account in the system, I felt like I was inconveniencing the person who checked me in, etc) The breakfast buffet was the worst I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. The food was dry and lacked variety. Overall, the price was fair if you’re just looking for a nice room - but don’t expect anything else. This property is certainly not comparable to any standard, full service hotel (Hilton, Marriott, Sheraton, etc) - a value chain like Holiday Inn Express is a better experience.

Outstanding hotel! GREAT service, clean, updated, QUIET! Restaurant was very nice. We had two issues - one small and one big. Small thing - adult swim after 9pm? Some guests didn't care so we got splashed so much we had to leave. Second - beds were NOT comfy...our backs hurt from sleeping on them.

Shower soap dispenser didn’t work. Had to shower with shampoo. Room extremely humid, bedding was damp. Terrible view from room. Was a nice quiet room.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Location was good as well.

It was perfect except not very handicapped accessible, especially to the restaurant. Lots of walking, lots of stairs. Otherwise, perfect!

Honestly, I was not disappointed, but actually pleasantly surprised by my overnight stay. Even ended up with nice view of fireworks display (if you stay on July 3rd night). Looks like hotel been recently renovated and everything felt nice and fresh. Bed was great, loved shower and it was quiet! The only unexpected part was that breakfast is not complimentary, but hotels restaurant wouldn't beat prices of decent breakfast place. Definitely will stay again.
