Quality Inn Richmond North

I really wish we saw these reviews before we booked this place.. Anyway, We booked for 4 nights left after the first night... If isn't wasn't late, we would have asked for our money back and left!! Here is a list of things that were extremely bad.. The outside door to the side of the building was unlocked (that's a safety thing). The floors in the hall were dirty. The floor inside of the room was dirty also. The walls had stains on the them.. There was a bad smell in the hallway... The bed sheets had stains on them!?? Don't even want to think about that.. The phone that was in the room was FILTHY and didn't even work. They had a small coffee maker with nothing to use with it!!! The tub was gross. The TV was not connected to anything and their was no remote in the room. So, my husband called to ask for another room. He saw 3 other rooms, very similar looking to the one we were in. The last one I went with him. I have a very sensitive nose. So I can smell bad things real fast. The downstairs hallway looked like it was falling apart and water damaged. We go into the other room and it smelted so bad of weed! Hey if you like that smell, go for it!! We go to the front desk to talk with the employee that was there, and a 2 inch cockroach was crawling up the wall !!! We should of just took our stuff and ran BUT again it was very late...As we went back to our room, there were employees, I think, laying in the hallway. The next morning we checked out and told the employee to cancel the rest of our stay. This is the best part... he told us he didn't have the authority to check us out!!! WHAT!!!.He told us only the manager has the authority to cancel anyone's stay.... So, he printed out our receipt and then wrote on it that we cancel the rest of our days. He said he would let the manager know. My husband called the next day and - gee, what a surprise - the employee NEVER told the manager. The manger asked my husband what happened and why we left. So my husband gave him an ear full!. He said okay ..I'll give you your refund for the days that you didn't stay.. Nothing like I'm sorry or I'll take care of anything.

Place was dirty

I had to change rooms because there was not a working tv remote in the room. In the new room, I noticed there was no soap dish in the shower. The sink is not located in the bathroom and the room's refrigerator makes noise throughout the night. It was unsafe because a door to the parking area is left ajar and unlocked.

Roaches inside room and the bathroom could’ve been better and cleaner my fiancé found pills in the room also

There was many Breakfast choices

Very quiet big room with balcony. Nicer than I expected.

Check in was good. The room was not clean. Floor was sticky. Refrigerator was disgusting. I was afraid to walk barefoot on the bathroom floor. The table legs were about to fall off. The one thing good about the room we had is the bed was quite comfortable.

The 1st room we were in had standing water in it. There was no phone to call the front desk. I had to walk back down to the offixe to inform them. The 2nd room did not look like it had barely been cleaned. Garbage in the garbage can, stuff all over the floor. Went to get in bed and thr bed about tipped over, call and they had to come have maintenence fix the bed. This was all at 11pm..
