Baymont by Wyndham Manning

Rose at front desk checked us in. Very personable and considerate of a very tired senior, who had been in car for 9 hours. The room seemed to have been remodeled recently and the only reason I gave 4 stars was because they should’ve spent money to update the bathtub enclosure, the bottom surface was very slippery. And I guess there’s one other tiny thing! The toilet was very low so maybe they could install a bar to help older people get up easier. We would definitely stay here again in the future! (Oh… PS….the cardboard corner protectors were still on the pictures in our room. 😂

Right next to the Chick-fil-A. Easy walk.

Remote area. Not much for breakfast and dining.

The room was clean and had been remodeled. The toilets had not been replaced, they were the old style short toilet. The sink was very slow draining. My big disappointment was no coffee maker in the room. On line it said each room had one. Who wants to get up in the morning and go to the office to get a cup of coffee. NOT ME. Had I known this I would not have stayed there. There are plenty of other hotels at this location. They told me Wyndham did not require it, yet it shows on every website. Get rid of the ironing board and iron and put in a coffee maker.

Hotel is run down. Bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked. TV had no channel guide, I eventually gave up on scrolling. Breakfast was middling. That’s why the place was relatively inexpensive.

The sheets had not been changed on the bed and I could see the dirt spot where the last person's feet were in the bed. Double flush was required to flush toilet.

Although upgraded rooms......still an old building two floors and no elevators! Was originally given a second floor room and when explained had a handicap spouse the clerk searched and stated have one room which was on the first floor. This room was on the even side and we had parked on the odd room side where the hotel entrance was. Have to note that I passed by numerous odd number rooms and all were empty. The "continental" breakfast was not and very limited......should take note of your competitors ex. IHG and Hilton. If your handicapped or traveling with a handicap person be advised limited handicap parking and the no elevator, as previously identified!

Only one small bar of soap provided . Bed is on a metal platform. Terrible noise every time I moved on the bed.

Me and my family really enjoyed our stay at the Baymont Inn. The rooms were updated and very clean. The linen and towels were very clean. The beds were nice and comfortable and the staff were very polite and helpful. The front desk reception area was nice and the front desk staff were also very polite and helpful.

I had trouble checking in. The hotel said their system was down. Therefore, the check in time took a long time.
