Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Madison South

Location is great. Large mini fridge that had a decent size separate freezer. Very hot water. Because of the construction you had access to the Sheraton's hot tub, pool and fitness center but due to the winter storm I did not want to walk over there.

I didn't realize the place is under construction (January 2024) and did not have a main lobby, pool, hot tub, fitness center, vending machine or hot breakfast as advertised (there were grab n go options). The beds squeaked, but I'm sure once the remodel is finished they will update those. The room was right next to the makeshift lounge for breakfast( 2 rooms turned into a breakfast area) and it was very loud when someone was in there. Obviously I could hear everything in the hallway as well. Construction was supposed to start at 8am, but it was 7am one day, which didn't bug me much as I was already up luckily.

It’s under construction & shouldn’t remain open. Would not recommend staying until complete. Breakfast was sub par with only some things available. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.

They made bringing a dog hassle-free and were generally very helpful. The hotel is a little old and run-down but it's clean enough, the staff is great, and the location is fantastic!

Didn’t realize how much construction was happening. It looked abandoned. There was plastic on the floor in the halls, our room had pieces of hair left on the bed and weird stains on the carpet. Just felt very sketchy considering the multiple other good reviews I’ve read from this location.
