Mövenpick Resort Petra

We had a wonderful stay at the Movenpick. The property was very comfortable and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere made the experience very enjoyable. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. A special thank you to Zaid, who was particularly helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. His kindness and attention stood out and made out stay even more pleasant. When one member of our group was not feeling well, he went out of his way to make thoughtful suggestions and ensure we had what we needed. His care and professionalism truly made a difference in our stay. If you are traveling to Jordan, I would highly recommend a stay at the Movenpick!

I really enjoyed my 7 night stay at the Petra movenpick . The chocolate hour was very nice and the food very fresh and tasty . Service was excellent and the staff made me feel very welcomed . My room had a good view and was cleaned well daily . The senior manager Ahmed Amarat made me feel very welcomed and remembered me from my last stay . I enjoyed a massage at the hamman soa , this was very relaxing . The hotel is continently located to Petra treasury . Would highly recommend . I am returning in May 2026 .

Very nice hotel with beautiful public areas. Almost had the place to myself during the Iran attack, and the staff were very kind and helpful,particularly the breakfast team pictured. The hotel is right across from the visitor centre you could not ask for a better location. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful place in great location acrorss from museum in Petra. Despite many employees at the front desk and the bar, most ignored guests and even walked into you. The exception and high point of our stay was Faoud H, the manager/host in the restaurant, who was a true delight during scary time. The war with Iran was in early days and sirens kept sounding. Faoud made us smile saying, "Don't worry, they do this all the time- when it rains, if it snows, if one guy pushes another guy"- he told us Jordan is like Switzerland and we were safe there and he was right. My husband had a massage that was an unusual and (he says) awesome experience- he was hosed, exfoliated and then massaged. Work out room was nice and folks in restaurant were friendly.

Beautiful hotel in a super location for Petra...super efficient staff and facilities...the complimentary biscuits on the room were a nice touch.... Food in the restaurant was excellent with plenty of choice.. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at will definitely return.

La posizione è ottima proprio di fronte il visitors centre. Colazione molto buona. Personale concierge e ristorante molto gentile.

L’ho prenotato perché pensavo di poter usufruire della spa dopo una giornata intera nel sito archeologico ma è tutto a pagamento compreso il bagno turco (mai visto in un hotel 5 stelle). In più la spa è quasi inesistente. Non funzionava il riscaldamento nella nostra stanza (cosa non piacevole a Febbraio) e dopo varie discussioni e diverse versioni sui fatti con il personale al telefono ci è stata consegnata una stufetta elettrica in stanza che chiaramente non abbiamo potuto usare durante la notte. Ci è stato proposto di cambiare stanza ma ormai erano le 11 di sera.

Excellent location, good rooms, and very friendly staff but the dining options (and quality) are a massive weakness! Struggled to enjoy any of the meals during our two nights there. The Spa facilities are a massive letdown too and some of the prices are extortionate (€15 for a bottle of sparkling water!). Does not qualify as a 5 star property. Special shout out to Jawwad, Hamza and Mutaz. You guys were amazing!
