The Edward Hotel

Location was central to our efforts in the Durban area.

Ants in first bedroom, reluctant to give us another room. Took ages to get free Wifi. Cracked & repaired toilet. Conference hotel so always busy. Busy & noisy on beachfront. Poor research on my part as we did not feel that safe after dark,

it was just perfect next to all the facilities I needed, next to the bus picking point, ushaka marine world and shoprite checkers where I got my snacks. The place very perfect,the food was good and I must say it was not expensive at all next time I am definitely using the same resort.

They had no water the day we checked out and expected us to take our towels to neighboring hotel to shower....highly annoying and inconvenient! They also charged us for parking and were not aware that your website said free parking - pls clarify with them on that. Lastly we thought breakfast was included but it’s R195 extra per person.

Overall we had a pleasant stay. The restaurant food was below standard and the general menu was not very appealing.

Excellent location, staff very friendly and accommodating, the service is just a bit slow. Great breakfast choice. I would happily stay here again.
