Residence Inn by Marriott McAllen

This place is hands down the best location to stay for your buck! The service that Robert, Javier, Chris, Diana, and Sylvia provided was always above and beyond! You got FULL meals three days a week and these aren’t just simple meals! Bratwurst, lasagna, brisket, etc...awesome when you’re living in a hotel. I was fortunate enough to have stayed in one of their two bedroom suites (rm 309) which had a non-working fireplace but that’s okay from a liability stand point. The windows in the Suites can be opened. I enjoyed the oven and stove top. It was like being in an apartment. Along my stay, any issues that I encountered were handled expeditiously. Slow draining tub? Fixed. Light on my stove was out? Replaced. Squeaking door? Oiled. The front desk always referred to me by name. I always appreciated that. The cleaning staff was awesome. The ladies came and went as requested. I had my room cleaned once a week and they were great in working around my afternoon schedule. Whenever I’m in this area, this is the first place that I come to, even if my job tries to stick me someplace else. I would like to thank everyone there for putting up with my MANY packages that arrived! Thank you, everyone!

The toilet in the master bedroom was broken and I asked them to fix it but they said there was no one that could? Had to share the other bathroom with other guests in the room. Not the end of the world just inconvenient.

First time staying at the hotel and definitely notice upon walking into the hotel lobby management has implemented COVID19 safe distancing and PPE restrictions in order to protect its customers and staff. Unfortunately, the customers don't seem to take wearing masks while on the property very serious. The staff does its best to gently notify customers who are not in compliance. This "new normal" isn't pleasant for anyone but RI does a great job in assisting its customers through it all. Hotel is nice and comfortable.

Family friendly and comfortable, convenient, clean, good location.

This has been one of the best hotel stays I've had in a very long time! Super friendly, helpful staff and a beautiful, spotless room. And the bed was SO COMFORTABLE I slept so soundly! Also nice perk - they have Netflix on the TVs in the room so you're not stuck with local programming. Cannot say enough about this hotel - highly recommend!

I am so pleased with the Residence Inn of McAllen. The room was comfy, the breakfast was phenomenal, and the staff was kind and helpful. The only issues we had were some of the light fixtures did not work and the AC made a lot of noise in the locked closet.

This is one of best residence inn we have stayed. Great and punctual service, friendly, comfortable it has been great one month stay I like to special thanks to Abraham and Chris and Robert at front desk You all made our stay as like staying at home I can not forget house keeping at our floor (3rd) was excellent pretty impressive As I am an ambassador, I have been staying a quiet lot of Marriott properties for last several years This is one of properties I can absolutely recommend At the end of my review, I have to let all you knows our dog ,RIKI golden retriever has been very happy during one mont stay, I assure this is the friendly hotel Thank you all

We always love Residence Inn and this was no exception. The huge room with full kitchen, the staff, the amazing breakfast and décor was exceptional. The amount of points required for stay was also exceptional and allowed us extra time at the hotel.

The Marriott Residence Inn in McAllen Texas covered all their bases by supplying the greatest quality of service at the front desk and in housekeeping, great food for breakfast and supper on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights, excellent amenities and friendly employees. At the front desk, Roberto is surely an asset to this establishment. We highly recommend this place to others and we will be back again to "swing our bats". Until next season......
