Tidy well laid out room and lovely staff

Shower temperature was low and if using the bath the hot water runs out so it only gets tepid. Some areas needed maintenance - cracks, toilet pulling off the wall etc.

The location and view.

The bathroom very basic and electric heater. Had to leave windows open as it was stuffy. There was also some construction work going on about 7.30 Saturday morning Sounded like it was in the hallway. Overall it was ok. The view made it worth while and so did the staff

Staff were exceptional and friendly and helpful.

We all had trouble with the showers going from scorching and freezing cold. The staff were amazing in swapping two of our group to another room. Unfortunately the issue continued. We were impressed with staff response and kindness, but hate to think if a child was having a shower and having to deal with this.

The location is super. Fabulous views from the lakeside rooms and close to the town centre. I just had a three day stay here, from 19th 22nd June. I had purposely booked this hotel for a birthday celebration long weekend away, because of the views and closeness to the town centre. The views from my room were EXCELLENT and beautiful. Sitting in the room I could watch the lake front and stare at the mountains. Service from counter/reception staff was great and Restaurant and bar staff wonderful. Super friendly and helpful and always willing to help

Where the review only gets 3 STARS - unfortunately, the rooms. I booked a superior room, which was great - with exception of the following: 1(The bed - This was a King bed, however, it was two singles pushed together, with no real mattress topper - It needed to have a foam or even two, foam mattress topper place on the pushed together beds. Instead, it only had a mattress protector, which is not the same thing. As a result, the middle of the bed was EXTREMELY hard and the two singles extra soft (too soft for me, but some peeps like that). 2) OLD HEATING STYLE- which, while adequate, was not great. 3) HOT WATER - If you wanted to have a shower in the evening, unless you wanted a luke warm shower, then you had to wait until the morning. Even then, you had to turn the dial to hottest setting, and even then, it would go cold and hot over and over, NOT GOOD. 4) Windows in the hotel are not doubled glazed, and for a hotel that is in a cold climate, this is necessary imo. 5) HOUSEKEEPING- I put the sign on my door to have my room made up, when leaving in the morning, came back around 3pm to change, room still not done. Came back after my dinner cruise, around 9pm, the housekeeping had not "made up the room", which should include bed being made, bathroom being cleaned, fresh towels and all surfaces wiped down. This had not happened. Only thing they did was replace the towels, that is it. Very disappointing.
