The rest room cleanliness and the space to hang up clothes Lighting in the bedroom is too weak

Does not honor Marriott elite program. One of the primary benefits of Platinum and higher status is late check out - guaranteed, as long as you're not at a resort or convention property or a couple specific brands. This property is not ont he exclusion list. I requested the late checkout in the app when I checked in digitally. Then again when I checked in in person. I was told they could not accommodate because they were full. I explained that I had meetings I needed to take knt he room. After requiring a manager's involvement, they said they could give me an extra hour. I walked away with that as I didn't have time to argue. I tried to move my calendar, but it wasn't possible. I messaged them through the app that I did my best to adjust my schedule but was going to need the late checkout I requested. They said 'no'. I had to link the Marriott terms and conditions in my response. Then they finally relented and gave me what I needed, which was still earlier than the 4pm guaranteed via T&C. Add to that the ridiculous amenities fee, and I just won't be back. It's a shame. The location is great. The rooms do need serious updating, and the cost is totally not worth it.

Nice central location that is a long walk or quick Uber ride from Union Station. Right by the river walk and the magnificent mile.

Great location once we figured out the entrance - there was road construction. Easy to walk to places and we always felt very safe. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Great stay!

Fantastic location and value for the stay. The hotel itself and rooms are nothing special, but still nice. Would definitely stay again for the convenience and location.

Great location. Really can’t be beat. Nice, large room. Very friendly bar staff. Bathroom is big enough, but feels a little old. Destination fee is a scam, but every Marriott seems to be doing it. $11 room service delivery fee is insane, but they warn you about it and advise that you use the $15 food credit (from the $25 destination fee) directly at the bar. Get a sense the bar staff realizes it’s a scam because the first couple nights they didn’t even bother charging me / using the credit as my orders were within a $1 of the credit. Overall, great experience and would stay again!
