Birch Hill Suites Kansas City - Independence

I got in late, i was speedily checked in, slept well in a clean room, with very adequate a/c. I slept late to get caught up in peace. Checked out 30 minutes before check out time at 11am

The customer service great...but to have roaches and cleanliness was horrible...I have never stayed in a hotel like this...definitely needs to do better!!!

The rooms...the sheets the towels...the fridge worked great thats about it!!! O yeah the hot water was great

This property was by far the dirtiest place I have ever been if we had needed it for more than getting ready we definitely would’ve gone someplace else. At least the staff did get the air conditioner fixed before we got back to the room from dinner.

I did absolutely nothing wrong there I minded my business I paid on time. And there's a very depressing time in my life after losing my 18 year old child so in the window I displayed his memorial photo with a cross. When it's an extended stay so you are allowed to put something in the window if you want. Well the big lady in the front with the short hair and it's pink calls my room and says all the sudden I have to leave. And I said really can I ask why then she proceeds to tell me that housekeeping has asked me numerous times to remove the stuff from the window and I asked the housekeeping they said they never said that. So the lady in the front desk says this is a hotel not in art gallery. Then hangs up the phone. So as if I wasn't going through enough this lady gets a wild hair and chooses me to target. But let's other people have things in their windows. I took pictures I'll need them for evidence.

Sorry but this place was a piece of shit. So bad I drove off and slept in my car. It was a dump, room smelled, no ventilation, A/C did not work very well. Place looks like it was built in the 1800s. I was embarrassed and I would have paid double to stay in a nicer, cleaner and safer facility.
