Red Roof Inn Detroit - Royal Oak/Madison Heights

Room smelled of smoke and so did my work bag when I left. Globs of hair, the bed was so squeaky and the bedding was dirty and probably not washed. A lot of people live here and a couple of pit bulls running around despite MI 6’ leash laws.

Bed bugs! Room one fifteen. I left first thing in the morning a day early. I haven't received a refund which i deserve at least one night returned to me.

Hotel room was clean

The staff are kind and answer all your questions.

The room and all rooms nearby were smelling smoke. The room was not clean even after the staff cleaned it. There were cigarette burns in the blanket. There is a huge smoke smell outside the rooms. I went with some friends and the hotel didn't have a room for them and when they provided another room, that room was occupied already, so they were lucky to stay in another hotel. The bathroom is so old that it looks like a dirty bathroom.

Floor was chipped, bedsheets had holes in them, ceiling was chipping, smelled of mildew, ended up paying for a completely different hotel. Don’t waste your time here.

The stay was horrible. No lock on one room, a dead bird and no working outlets in another. I am still waiting to hear back from both Red Roof and Hotels on a full refund
