Unclean sheets, bath tub was not clean

The location was next to Hooters

They charge a no smoking deposit but the whole hotel was smoking. My room was dirty and used. I ordered a no smoking room but cigarette burns and cigarette smell was everywhere. I’m talking fresh smoking. The appliances we rusty and old. When I checked in I told the staff someone had smoked in my room and it smelled of cigarette smoke and I didn’t want my deposit took. She came looked and said I don’t smell smoke. I even pointed out a few cigarette burns in my sheets and the chair and she said this whole place is nonsmoking. As soon as I got in the shower the fire alarms went off like 3 times in a row. They hide that they charge a deposit in the very bottom under pets and safety precautions. Which is misleading when booking or Expedia tells me I have nothing else to pay. Overall they were rude and I would recommend them to anyone. I booked the day before and drove 9 hours in from Texas only for them to pull what they did and they didn’t care. I never stay here again or advise anyone too.

Carpet by the phone had lots of dog hair on it. Spelled like a wet dog . Asked to have it vacuumed but no one took care of it
