Econo Lodge Charlotte Airport

Enjoyed my stay over here. Great staff. They provide airport shuttle too.

Proximity to the airport is pretty much the only upside.

There is absolutely a few reasons that this place is so much cheaper than other options. I've never seen a hotel/motel room with an outlet falling out of the wall. The faucet was incredibly mobile which is also new to me. The tv was not mounted properly, had a pretty bad image quality, and the speaker sounded like it was about to blow, for some reason when I turned it on the volume was set crazy high. Terribly done patchwork on parts of the wall, particularly around the toilet. The towels were awful, the bed was terrible (my back is killing me), the bedding was terribly thin, and the pillows were so bad I thought I was using hospital pillows. I was not even willing to walk around without my sandals on.

Close to airport, took late check ins for overnight layovers, sheets/ bed clean, great price. Waffle House right next door, micro and fridge in room (but fridge ran loudly), airport shuttle. I was told to sign up when I check out (starts at 6am)- but I didn't use it. VERY bright lights- all of them. Which could be good or bad depending on how you like your lighting.

Out dated/ old, Can be loud (traffic outside), people coming and going, unplugged the refrigerator to sleep, lobby isn't 24hours and had to check in window. Leaving at 6am thr lobby was supposed to be open but the worker must have been running late so I couldn't get a morning shuttle back to airport- ordered an Uber instead. For assistance 3-6am a sign says to go to hotel next door.
