Hyatt Carmel Highlands

The view was spectacular. The room was basic but fine. The location can't be beaten.

The rooms are old and the water pump makes a noise when it kicks off. The room service left their vacuum cleaner in the room. The fireplace didn't generate any heat. Minor points - the view is what matters.

The view is beautiful. The gym is nice. The room is a good size and the bed is comfortable.

The staff was not very helpful. Lots of talking and little help. There is not too much to do at the hotel or nearby in the evening. Lots and lots of stairs to the room. They offered help with the luggage but we arrived in the evening and they claimed they were very busy so we had to manage all the stairs ourselves. The room was very expensive for the value. (~800$ per night )

Extremely old. Urgently needs remodeling. Absolutely not sound proof- could hear everything that was going on in the room above.

Beautiful views!!! Updated and very comfortable rooms with electric fireplace…. Sooo romantic!

Parking is a good walking distance up the hill, totally doable but hard to do in heels…

the view was very nice! We can see the ocean without any trouble. The electric fireplace was also very nice.

the noise from highway 1 was too loud. the bathroom was small and no tub. no bottled water in the room.

The view is absolutely stunning.

Parking was not easy to find when it got dark trying to find my way around. The rooms also were not easy to locate.
