Beautiful position and view

The desctiption and photo of the room on the web are very different vs reality

The view of the ocean and cleanliness of the rooms.

We had a bad experience the first night. When we checked into our room around 4:30, we could hear the people in the room next door taking very loud, going in and out of their sliding glass door to their balcony and slamming it. We shared a wall with them. We were in our room until around 6:30 and then left for dinner.They were pretty much loud that whole time. We got back to our room around 9:30. Now they were yelling and obviously fighting. It was so loud we could pretty much hear their whole conversation. After 30 minutes I called the front desk to complain. They said they would get the night manager to go over there to talk with them. The noise continued so I called again . They wanted to come into our room and hear what we could hear, and I thought that was inappropriate especially at 10:30 at night. We were already dressed for bed. The noise did calm down some and then the people next door started fighting again around 2:00am in the morning and it lasted almost until 4:00 am. I didn't call the front desk again because I had already called three times earlier and I didn't really like the way I was treated by the front desk in regards to the situation. So in the morning we walked down to the front desk and complained and the morning manager called me within an hour. I can't remember her name but she was really wonderful. It was a Sunday morning. She had shared that when they checked in they were fighting and also at dinner in the restaurant . She told me the night manager did go over there to talk with them but they were treated with some hostility. She was actually concerned for our safety because she went over to talk with them in the morning and they were very angry that the front desk had disrupted their time even though they were fighting. She wanted to move us out of our room and sent over a bellman to help and did not want us to have any interaction with this couple. I think her name was Wendy but I can't remember for sure.

Facility clearly depends on it locations overlooking the coast. Room amenities were minimal. No funiture other a bed and small table and two staight back chairs. Nothing on the walls other than a TV. Single sink, small bath room, etc. reminded me of a barebones Motel 6 Room. lots of stairs to 'walk' anywhere. Not a place for older folks.

There was a nice view.

There was no hot water so we could not take a shower. The parking was horrible...had to back out down a hil because there was no turn around space. They gave us used and opened lotion and a dirty towel. They charged me twice for the room. I prepaid Booking.com. Now I have to wait 5-10 days for money back.

Great views over the coastline. Fantastic room. Great food. Friendly staff.
