Swissotel Quito

I stayed here for 4 nights starting April 25th. I would not recommend the hotel. The hotel is not in a neighborhood where there is anything of interest, so you will need to book transport for restaurants, or going to Old Town, etc. The rooms are basic. Water is limited to two small bottles daily. There is a “Nespresso” knock-off machine in the room with knock-off Nespresso pods (1 intense, 1 light, 1 decaf). The first time I tried it, the knock-off pod got crushed in the machine and was unusable. Unfortunately, on two separate days the room was not adequately cleaned, as we had left a small towel on the shower floor in the morning which was still there in the evening after the room was serviced. On another occasion, no bath towels nor bath mat was left. Empty water bottles were left in the room and not removed. The bathroom floor was not swept. Overall, inadequate attention to the servicing of the rooms. Combine that with one of the concierge staff who refused to crack a smile when addressing him, nothing going on in the neighborhood, repetitive selections for breakfast, I would not choose to stay here again nor recommend.

El servicio desde la recepción, la variedad de restaurantes que tienen dentro del complejo, la limpieza y comodidad de la habitación y su excelente ubicación.

La verdad no tengo nada negativo que decir respecto al hotel.

Excelente desayuno.

La habitación era algo ruidosa porque estaba situada cerca de un generador. No nos avisaron de este extremo.
