Mexico City Marriott Reforma Hotel

The hotel staff really made my stay comfortable during a recent business. I got very sick and Alejandro from Security took my vital measurements and accompanied me to the pharmacy and doctor's office. It was great having his help because I was very dizzy. Other staff asked how I was doing over several days. I am also glad to hear that the hotel is renovating rooms. While my room was comfortable, the decor will benefit from a refresh. My room was cleaned quickly and the chicken soup from room service was exactly what I needed. I would recommend the hotel to those staying for business in the area.

Good location

Very unstable internet and slow. Upon check-out, I didn't receive my invoice because the "system" was not working. The invoice that was sent via an email was a corrupt file. I still dont have an invoice.

Location was great! Bed was comfortable and staff were very professional and helpful. Great amenities.

I primarily selected this hotel based on a promotion with the parent brand, but the listing of sister properties brought on further distinctions. Closeness to the venue where Shakira was performing and airport distance due to the quick duration of this trip. The traffic in CDMX is well known, but it wasn’t too congested until we reached the traffic circles near hotel. Location proved to be decent for all activities, and walking was an option for most. Rideshare is also easy, except the Sunday morning street closure for activities. Apparently, many streets close to museums and popular spots are closed to cars. Neat, but also something to factor into time sensitive reservations. Not sure if the 5k/10k the morning of our visit is weekly or less often. Aside from location convenience, I found the hotel very pleasant. Rooms were spacious and clean. Checkin was a little annoying. Front desk staff initially were overly scripted. Also, early checkin wasn’t allowed (status says it should be), but I won’t know if late checkout would’ve been a problem because of the departure time. After that everything was smooth. I would point out the excellent service, but it seems standard at the properties I’ve stayed at in Mexico. It was great though. The 16th floor rooftop restaurant and lounge and the lunch and breakfast buffets on the 1st floor were distinctly superb. I would share photos of the room and public spaces, but everyone has that covered. So I will show some dining and a local area landmark. I would stay there again for sure.
