Mexico City Marriott Reforma Hotel

We spent a couple of weeks at this Marriott and it is one of the best stays we have had. The staff is amazingly friendly and kind, you always feel welcomed. We had access to the lounge in the 16th floor where food and service were outstanding (thanks Roberto, Karina, Jessica, Neri, Abraham and Roberto) and also we had room service several times which was delicious, timely and at a very reasonable price without the usually mandatory service fee but just optional tip. Raul and Johnatan served us several times. Housekeeping was on point everyday (thanks Issis and Jessica), the staff at the reception, business center (thanks Valeria) and lobby were always trying to anticipate our needs. Gym and pool areas are very pleasant and well maintained. This would definitely be on my top choices when coming to Mexico City and I’m happy we choose this place.

Everything was great, staff was very friendly

The hotel is located in a great place in Reforma and there are many bars and restaurants nearby. The staff is super helpful and the breakfast buffet is really good. The rooms are spacious and very quiet, although a bit outdated. There is an executive lounge that has snacks and drinks, but you do have to pay for alcohol.

The concierges Fernando and Jorge are great. They speak excellent English and are knowledgeable about their city and options for tourist activities. They helped us book tours to iconic places outside the City and arranged for car services. If you want them to book you reservations in Mexico city's best restaurants - Pujol and Maximo Bistrot - you have to contact them 2 - 3 weeks in advance. Reservations for the Frieda Kahlo Museum also need to be gotten far in advance, but you can probably do that on the Internet. All the hotel staff is friendly, helpful and speaks good English. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel is centrally located near Chapultepec Park.

We decided to stay at Marriott Reforma so we were close for the Dia de Muertos parade and it ended up being a very central location from all the top attractions. We walked to Zocalo(35min), many nights to various parts of Roma for lunch/dinner and even to Condesa. The hotel itself turned out to be wonderful with excellent staff and services. We bought Club level package, which ended up being a great value (would recommend) as we got a full breakfast/coffee/juices every morning, snacks were provided throughout the day and even offered a full warm dinner each (we didn't take advantage since we liked going out in Roma....oh, and endless bottles of water, which is great). This was served on the top 16 floor where you could have a nice view, watch TV, sit in comfortable chairs and couches inside or on a nice sunny deck. The workout room was fantastic with plenty of treadmills, machines, free weights and mats to get a full workout in...nice pool to sit in sun, hot tubs and sauna! The staff is what made it for us, always helpful and attentive at front desk or the bellmen throughout the lobby and front door....the best was our room cleaner, Wendy...the cleaning staff was terrific. highly recommend Marriott Reforma for the comfort (beds, pillows, A/C were great), cleanliness, facilities, safety and value.

The restaurant experience was exceptional , Alexis the waiter , was professional and very helpful with great smile and good command of the English language. Simply the best food and service overall. The hostesses are excellent with great smile.
