Room was very shabby, looks very uncared fr and run down

The hotel was acceptable for a nights stay. The breakfast wasn’t as good as some of the reviews. My main issue is though is that I have just returned from a 2 week holiday to a £100 parking fine. We checked in, asked about parking and was told it was £8, paid it, no mention of logging our details in a tablet as we are now being told. There were 3 members of staff there when we checked in and we were chatting to them about our holiday, Christmas etc so why wouldn’t one of them say about putting our car details in. There was definitely NO mention of it! The only help Holiday Inn Crawley will give us for US to follow it up with the parking company. Poor customer service all round.

If you are going there from gatwick airport, go to the south terminal, then to the bus stop on the ground level. Take the metro bus that says Crawley on the screen & get off at the 7th stop I believe which is (square about) it’s located across from the hotel entrance. Cost 2.50 GBP The free internet was really high speed & the free breakfast was ok. Mattress & pillows are comfortable. But only one kind of soap in the bathroom to wash & shower. No shampoo, no body wash. I would stay there again comparing to the other hotels for money value & location is very convenient to go back to the airport. It takes about 17 min to get to the hotel & it take about 15 min to go back to the airport with the metro bus.

friendly staff, clean room, although the chair in the room had dubious stains on it!

Good space in the room and good breakfast, very good to short staying as it is close to Gatwick airport but far from main touristic points.

Walls damaged ... only two small towels. No bars of soap,

Our stay was just fantastic.
