Residence Inn by Marriott Anchorage Midtown

the suites were a good idea for a small family

fireplaces were never lit. no coffee after breakfast available and our trash was never emptied in our room.

Location was a little out of the way. Furniture was a bit uncomfortable.

We stayed at the Residence Inn midtown Anchorage for two nights while amidst a home move. What a wonderful place to relax and reset. We were greeted with kindness and care, and this continued throughout our stay. We stayed in a second-floor room; the space was well-planned, with a kitchen and small dining area near the open living area, and then our bedroom and bathroom were tucked away for privacy's sake. The room was clean and well stocked (pots, pans, dishes, accompanied the full refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, and coffee pot). We especially appreciated the coffee and Earl Grey tea! It was spring in Alaska, so our view of the incoming green foliage and the pretty grounds was a plus, too. The pool, hot tub, and gym space was appreciated, even if we didn’t to use it a lot. Breakfast was plentiful (lots of choices). Parking was ample. Looking forward to staying again soon!
