M y friends and I just came back from a week stay at the Curacao Marriott Beach Resort and absolutely loved it! It was a fabulous resort with so many beautiful spots to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a great balcony view of the ocean. The Papiamentu Cafe was great for quick bites and coffee and the dining services offered delicious meals as well. The Salty Iguana pool bar had great drinks and even better staff! All the staff members were so kind, friendly, and made us feel so comfortable. The resort is only a 20 minute drive to downtown Willemstad and Mambo Beach area which was ideal for day trips! Overall we loved the resort and would definitely recommend coming here for your trip to Curacao! I know we'll be back!

TOPHOTEL DIRECTLY ON A PRIVATE BEACH WITH VERY FRIENLY PERSONNEL This hotel has all facilities what you can imagine and very friendly personnel on a toplocation with immediate access to the sea. This hotel has a private beach with possibilities of snorkling. There are sufficient number of sunbeds on the beach and round the two swimming pools of which one adult only . The breakfast is really top with a great variety and choice .Also very friendly personnel . We had several times dinner at restaurant Salty on the beach which was really perfect especially the delicious food and beverages and very nice personnel and beautifull sunset above the sea. This hotel and garden are well maintained. Almost every evening there is musical entertainment in the lobby. The hotel is situated at only 4 km from the captital Willemstad. The hotel disposes of a big parking lot in case you want to hire a car. At arrival you will receive a drinking bottle and wellcome drink and a lot of explanation about the hotel and things to do in the neighbourhood. Two times per week there is also aguagym. I visited this hotel for the second time and my appreciation for this hotel and its staff is top class. This hotel is highly recommended for staying in this part of paradise. The Beach!!!

Breakfast was good but the food in the other restaurants was not very good.

My partner and I recently stayed at the Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort during our first trip to Curaçao. As Marriott Titanium Elite members who have stayed at dozens of Marriott resorts both in the U.S. and internationally, we had high expectations overall, this property delivered a wonderful vacation experience. We stayed in a one-bedroom oceanfront suite, and both the room and the view were absolutely perfect. The beach area was beautiful, with crystal clear water and a very relaxing atmosphere. One of my favorite aspects of this resort was that it never felt overcrowded or oversold. There were always plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, and even beach cabanas available at no additional charge, which made the experience much more enjoyable and stress-free. The hotel also offers complimentary parking, which is extremely convenient if you plan on renting a car. I highly recommend renting a car while visiting Curaçao, as it allows you to fully explore the island and makes the overall experience significantly better. That said, there were a few opportunities for improvement. Marriott elite members should temper expectations regarding elite benefits at this property, as the staff is quick to remind guests that benefits are not guaranteed at resort locations. We arrived at 3:00 PM, one hour before official check-in, so I completely understood that our room may not have been ready yet. However, the room was ultimately not available until nearly 6:00 PM, which was frustrating, although we chose not to complain at the time. What became more frustrating was the inconsistency surrounding late checkout. When I requested a 2:00 PM checkout on departure day, the request was initially denied. Only after asking to speak with a manager and reminding them of the significant delay at check-in was the request approved as a “one-time exception.” If the hotel is going to strictly enforce checkout times, then rooms should consistently be ready by the published 4:00 PM check-in time. The food at the resort restaurants was average at best. The daily breakfast buffet at JFK could definitely be improved, as the selection felt somewhat limited and the quality was underwhelming. The other dining options, including Salty Iguana and the lobby bar, were decent, but there are far better restaurant options throughout the island if you venture outside the resort. One overall theme I noticed not just at this property, but throughout Curaçao in general, was that the level of restaurant service and hospitality often felt below what I’ve experienced in many other countries. Service was not terrible, but it frequently lacked attentiveness and warmth. Overall, however, this is still a beautiful resort and we had a fantastic vacation. I would absolutely recommend both this property and a trip to Curaçao. With a few operational improvements, this resort could easily become an exceptional Marriott destination.

Awesome location and the weather was beautiful in May. Jaymy at the Salty Iguana went out of his way to make us feel welcome and included. Looking forward to coming back
