"impressed with Renovation"

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Kennesaw for the second time, and the upgrades are impressive! The exterior looks great with new landscaping and a freshly paved parking lot. Inside, the lobby is beautifully updated with new furniture and a modern feel. Our room was clean and comfortable with new furniture, renovated bathrooms, and fresh decor. The staff were all so friendly. Even the outdoor pool has been renovated—we had a great time! I’ll definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The entire hotel was under construction for the entire week we were there, which we were not of informed of when booking. Every day there was constant drilling and pounding the entire day and I was unable to take any work calls, including in the lobby. The entire floor we stayed on was under demolition, I was surprised they put guests on that floor at all since garbage and broken furniture blocked the corridors and elevator. Clearly, they only want to take the $$ without any regard to providing a adequate stay. My male colleague complained and got 25% off. When I complained they offered me 10% off, pretty obvious what was going on there.
