Comfort Inn & Suites near Route 66

Shower curtains had moldy stains, the one queen size bed sheets like like urine stains on them. Smelled like mold and nasty food

The parking area was lit up and safe. The room was quiet and clean. The coffee was hot and the lady that greeted us at midnight was very kind.

Staff nice and friendly. Room carpet dirty. Very musty smell in room. Had to purchase air freshener. Bed was comfortable. Needs update.

The room was clean, the carpet soiled and torn. We had reservations and arrived at 4:00 by a very unfriendly staff woman who did not smile and did not say hello. We said we had a reservation and she said "your room is not ready", why? answer was we were very busy. When will it be ready. Answer was about 1/2 hour to one hour. No I am sorry. We went to eat and came back at 5:00. We went in, asked is our room ready? Answer No. we asked when? she said not sure. Will you call us when it is ready, She had our number and said she would. We came back at 6:00. She was sitting outside and we asked her when driving by where she was , is our room ready. She said Yes. I said why did you not call us? She said I tried and did not get an answer. I asked, Why did you not leave a message? She said "Ah, ah, ah, it would not let me. I said not true, my phone never had a call. We went in with our luggage and she just handed us our key. No further conversation except when I asked her about breakfast and further question about what time, where was the elevator and what kind of room. She says you have your key. I said what kind of room. I said, You know like the beds. The guy behind me even commented. Further, there were probably 8 plus people waiting in the lobby area for there rooms and she had been outside while they were inside. Got the feeling she did not want to be there. Breakfast had no milk for cereal. Would not stay here again. Very disappointed.

The property was near lots of dining options, several gas stations, and close to our destination about 10 minutes away by car. I put the do not disturb sign on the door as my husband is on a midnight schedule and we were not disturbed at all. There was a closet to hang up our things instead of leaving them in the suitcase.

The room could’ve used some basic maintenance, the bathtub dripped but it wasn’t too loud just noticeable. Our curtains wouldn’t close all the way due to the ac unit, any time it was on it blew our curtains out and they would swivel so we had the sun directly in our eyes in the morning. Our bed was so stiff, laying on it felt like laying on a cot rather than a mattress. The wallpaper in the hallway was peeling away from the wall so it could use a touch up. The first night we were there, from 1-3 am there was a car in the parking lot squealing their tires and blasting music. It kept us up most of that time which was very frustrating. The room also had a cigarette smell when we first entered it. We didn’t notice it so much after we had been there a while but it popped back up when we were out most of the day the next day and came back.

I stayed one night. The bathroom needed some cleaning and minor repairs. Everything else was good
