Best Western Sycamore Inn

We got there and the room we got had mold everywhere! I went down and told the front desk lady and she was amazing! Got us a room on the first floor. Took care of everything for us. We will stay again! Very good experience.

Quiet, clean, modern property with friendly staff. Spacious, well-appointed room. Hot breakfast included: pancakes, omelets, and more. Good value. We've stayed here several times. There are cheaper lodging options nearby, but they aren't as nice.

As the week end went on the elevator would sound like it needed oiled or maintenance on done on it. Wasn't real comfortable getting on it but wasn't able to carry luggage up steps. The staff was friendly. Upon checking in and getting to room, we discovered there was no information as to restaurants to order in. We were told "we aren't allowed to put that information out". The same with TV channels, the people at the desk were helpful in giving suggestions for restaurants, and she did give us brochures with information. The television reception was ridiculous, we had to watch in between the internet trying to connect. We also heard other people comment on the same thing. The toilet stool would actually rock if you weren't careful and the toilet paper dispenser would fall out of the wall. The chairs that were in the room to set in was crammed back in the corner and worn out. For the price we paid, we expected better.

First room had electrical issues and painted over mold on the wall. I was not given a senior citizen discount like I do at other motels. Your sign is difficult to see from the road. As we were switching rooms I found out I could have stayed cheaper at a motel nearby and got the senior discount. I was simply too tired to bother.

The property is not aesthetically pleasing pretty plain. The staff was great and the room was comfortable.

Plenty of space, food needed refilling.

The room was very sticky (humid), the ceiling had dark spots (I think from mold), there was no hair dryer, the hotel phone was not operable, the Keurig cups were old and the Keurig didn't work very well.

Easy to find location. Check in was easy and Mary was exceptional. Room was very clean. TV not working, otherwise a great stay. Breakfast area was clean and food was fresh. Same basic fare, but well prepared and enjoyable. Italian restaurant next door with excellent food.

No TV. They said a bird flew into their dish. Also the flooring in the rooms had lifted spots. The beds and pillows were very nice.
