"A good stay in northern Illinois"

I stayed in the Sycamore Inn on the way in a road trip in the central US. The hotel seems to have been an Holiday Inn property in the past that has changed to be a Best Western. My experience was good. The room was quiet. It has been clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. When I went down for breakfast I was alone there. The scrambled eggs were fine. I missed seeing peanut butter.

"It was nice and I’ll be back."

I really love the blinds! that was pretty cool! Room was clean and nice! The staff was very nice too.

The shower water could be warmer and the lighting in the bathroom a big brighter. I was also a bit cold throughout the night. It still was a very nice places. I will stay again.

Good hotel. Convenient to my meeting location. Reasonable price, quick check-in, some restaurants within walking distance. Internet was fast enough, breakfast was adequate.

Great room, clean and modern. The parking lot and drive way are probably the only negatives i have. Overall still one of the best hotels I've stayed in a long time.

The room was in poor condition the floor was lifting up,cracked tiles in the bathroom and air conditioning was so noisy

Our room appeared to be in the middle of renovation as there were a lot of unrepaired drywall areas and water stains on the drywall. The ceiling exhaust fan was filthy as was the HVAC unit in the room as it could not adequately dehumidify the roof and blew black moldy dust into the room. The housekeeping staff storage and laundry adjacent to our room and they were very loud very early in the morning. Would not stay there again

Not awful, but not wonderful. Cool shower in the morning for some reason. Coffee in room not replenished. Great king sized bed and excellent air con. Blind didn’t work but as the view was of the car park this didnt matter! No safe. Breakfast was a pretty standard Motel DIY affair.
