Comfort Inn & Suites La Grange - Louisville Area

We had a fantastic night. There was a problem with how my bill was paid. I selected “pay at hotel,” wanting to use my debit card, and somehow at 3:00, my credit card was charged. The clerk at the desk was very friendly and helped me understand what was going on. She was very kind through my huffiness. The room, shower, pool, and breakfast were all great. We had a wonderful night. Everyone was friendly!

The only reason service got 1 star is because zero wasn’t an option. I showed up to this hotel at 4 am Saturday morning intending to stay until Sunday. They informed me I had to pay for 2 nights. No problem, then, Sunday when I checked out 3 more charges show up on my bank. The rate for 2 nights was $302. Upon check out, I found out I was charged an additional $435. I was pretty upset at that point. All anybody from hotel or customer service could tell me was they were authorization holds. Which wouldn’t have been needed, because the 302 came out when I checked in. I later found the issue was from showing up after the night audit. To top it all off, CP was running a promotion, book 2 nights for 8k points. I have still yet to get my points. I have spent all week with none of my money and on the phone trying to figure out what happened and no one seems to know still. Add on the fact that o went in to speak with GM and he couldn’t have cared less. It’s unfortunate because until I checked out, my stay was great. 0-10 DO NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING CHARGED 2.5 rate for auth hold.

This property is in needs to be renovated. Our room was okay, but the property is tired and in need of much housekeeping attention.

Our room was fine, nothing fancy, but we were only coming through town for some museums and got there late and left early the next day. They put us in a handicapped room which we didn’t need, but I guess no one else needed it either. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good, Belgian waffles, sausage and eggs, plus cereal, yogurt, etc. Very friendly staff.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant! Food was good, sausage, eggs, waffles, yogurt and muffins and cereals, will stay again in the future!
