Spark by Hilton Paducah

The hotel is under construction. I didn't even think it was open. You had to dodge construction workers and debris everywhere you were. We didn't know it changed owners or was under construction till we got there. It was a different name!

Was not told the property was under construction. The sign did not reflect the name of the hotel we booked which was confusing and frightening after a 10 hour drive pulling up at midnight. Also the carpet was very stained in our room and it smelled bad.

Having a real breakfast was nice. If it was just a muffin or bagel I would not have stayed.

The building was under destruction to become a Hilton hotel. Amenities that were offered were not available, like the fitness center. Additionally the building was hard to find because it no longer had the signage of Auburn Place but said Spark

The room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. We were on the 3rd floor and the rooms and hallways were already renovated.

The entire first floor of the hotel was being renovated. The lobby was a mess. The hotel name was changed to Spark by Hilton so when we arrived at the property we weren't sure if we were at the correct hotel. There was construction mess everywhere including the breakfast area. They were sanding the drywall during breakfast hours. Not very sanitary. They were storing construction materials in the pool area so the pool was not available. We booked this hotel because of the pool, so very disappointed we were not informed of the construction prior to our stay.
