Best Western Plus Como Park Hotel

The night staff was amazing. She gave me popcorn from her own personal snacks. The facility is amazing. The train depot seemlesslu made into a beautiful hotel interior

Just had a quick stop. Room was nice and clean. Pool area looked fun. Breakfast was decent. The staff were not super helpful. There wasn't hot water at breakfast (despite being tea out), and when I asked where it was the lady working there gave me a funny look and said they didn't have any... which is obviously not true. They also weren't able to answer my questions about rental car places nearby. Night check in took quite a while (just sharing way too much info with us). But for the price and what we were looking for it worked just fine.

Very nice hotel! How neat that it used to be a train station! Rooms were clean (minus a sock we found behind an end table), with lots of towels and free coffee. We also loved the hot breakfast buffet (which wasn't advertised), although the waffle maker stopped working on our second day and was eventually put out of order. Our one complaint was parking: the hotel lot is quite small and always full so we were required to park quite a ways away in an overflow lot which was very poorly lit with very little signage. Finding it in the dark was quite difficult. Other than that, a great experience!

The fridge was super loud and was dirty in the room. Also had to park in overflow parking a block away and walk all to hotel

A really cute hotel made from an old railway station. Great breakfast and nice pool and hot tub. They are short on parking, though.

Stay was great. Flights in were delayed, and i arrived after midnight. The team member working at the time was very helpful for a delayed traveler. I don't remember the name but it was the front desk agent early hours of July 10. All other team members were friendly throughout my interactions as well,

We arrived at the hotel at 4:00 pm (check-in was 3:00 pm) and the front desk was deserted. I attempted to find someone, checked the office and then I called the hotel. My phone records show I attempted at 4:07, 4:10 and 4:17, no answer. I saw a young man approaching and while he appearance left a lot to be desired for a hotel employee, he was in fact the front desk clerk. I expressed that I had been waiting. He couldn't have cared less, in fact he informed me that our room was not in fact ready and wouldn't be for an additional hour. We waited by the pool and when I returned at 5:00pm was informed that we would be denied service because his manager determined by looking at surveillance footage that my husband had been threatening to him. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told they were not available. When I asked to see the footage was told that was not possible as well. My husband had told the clerk that since we would not have our room for up to 2 hours later than stated we 'might' stay 2 hours later on Monday, our check out date. That was hardly threatening! In fact it was down right ridiculous. As we left the hotel I photographed the young man in order to get the name on his badge and then I was threatened by him. He said that he would call the police because it was illegal for me to take his photo. He was quite rude and in fact when friends checked into hotel a mere few minutes later were told that there were no vacancies. I suspect the hotel was overbooked and this was his way of dealing with that particular problem. The manager then attempted to bill my credit card for 1 nights stay. I was ready to report it to Chase as credit card fraud.

Hot tub was closed in the morning and not open until 12 noon, check out was at noon. Poor plug in availability. Table lamp kept flickering when on. Tv took multiple tries to get it to work.

This building was converted from old train maintenance facility. There are strong chlorine smell inside the building as well as in rooms. WiFi is not stable as well.

A/C didn’t cool the room. Very uncomfortable night.
