Best Western Plus Como Park Hotel

No air conditioner working gave us a fan

Great hotel and location for Minnesota State Fair however I would book through St Fair website as the rates were considerably less than booking directly with hotel. The manager would not honor the website rate and was negative about the third party booking option. I get the hotel not wanting to lose revenue but then don’t use additional booking sites and don’t shame customers who do.

This hotel is very misleading if you’re going to use the shuttle service or the restaurant/bar. We were kind of given the runaround on the shuttle and expected a ride back and didn’t get one and had to take an Uber. We also wanted to stop in the bar for a drink and a pizza and it was closed And never did open the whole time we were there For the amount they charge I would go somewhere else. We went to the swimming pool and they appeared to be two hot tubs, but only one was in use

The property is cool vintage but needs major cleaning in the upper timbers and duct work you can see thick dust has accumulated on them. We had no clock in the room, no ice bin, and had to park 300 yards away from the hotel

Check in was great. Great location for going to State Fair. Was promised breakfast, but told in the morning staff did not show so no breakfast :(

We stayed to go to state fair, used the hotel shuttle pick up at 8:30 pm, Megan went above & beyond, even waited for a family who called to say they would be a few minutes late, she waited an extra 15 minutes-they never showed up.

The only down fall of the hotel was i had called earlier in the week for information on the shuttle was told the shuttle ran til.12. We went to the concert in the grandstand and missed the shuttle back to the hotel. The shuttle ended at 930pm and we were at the pick up at 940. Had to get an uber

General manager Lisa was short tempered, unprofessional, and out of line.
