Best Western Plus Como Park Hotel

Check in staff was great. Explained parking situation-no onsite parking. It was inconvenient but no fault of hotel. Hotel room was ground floor with view of pool. There was a patio set right outside sliding doors from our room, but other guests used it for our entire stay- literally less than a foot from our door and they were loud and it was awkward. Breakfast the next day was terrible- they ran out very early and made no attempt to clean up around the area or restock. Staff stood at the front desk on their phones, ignoring customers. Trash was overflowing and the staff said they were short on people- but the two on duty stood behind the counter on their phones, not trying to clean up or help the situation.

A really unique property. An old train station turned hotel is right up my alley. The staff was very helpful. It is in a pretty good location. The only real complain I have is the parking situation. There are like 30 parking spots next to the hotel, and the overflow is two blocks away.

I love this hotel, it’s great part of history being a repurposed rail service center. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed this trip and little things like over flowing garbage cans occurred. But overall I enjoyed this hotel.

The parking ramp by them closed so it’s hard to find parking close by. The hotel itself was great!

Never was mentioned until check in that there parking ramp is no longer in service. Had to park over a block away in some lot. No bus to bring us back to hotel. It was 8pm and had all our stuff and a younger child. Keys didn’t work when we got to the room. Only half glass on the shower, other half is wide open - floor gets soaked and cold.

There is very little parking and extra parking is a block away in an unsecured parking area.

Close to state fairground’s

My stay was fine, it was clean and staff helpful. At front entrance it was not ADA compliant. This made it difficult for a friend to get into the front door.

There was no onsite parking, and the hot tub had mold growing in it and was super scummy. The outside of the building was unkempt and in poor condition. Our room itself was okay, but the door to the hallway was just feet from the bed and the light from the hallway shone in to the room all night long from around the door frame.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Entire hotel was very clean! The only downfall was the lack of parking near the hotel especially when having a lot to carry in and out each day.
