Days Inn by Wyndham Selma

We were just looking for a place to sleep and take a shower. The entire room was run-down and out dated, including the tv that had very few channels and poor reception. The bathroom had a bathtub that wasn't clean and needed a lot of TLC. It had mold on it and the carpets were in dire need to be shampooed or replaced. On the upside, the evening and night managers were very nice. The "Continental Breakfast" was fresh and tasty and the coffee was better than most truck stops. We left there early after foregoing the shower and having coffee and bagles and creme cheese.

Absolutely worst Days Inn I have ever stayed in. It was dirty and smelled awful. We were greeted by a very small roach. There were stains on the rug, the bed skirts and even the quilts. The sheets were bearable. There were a bunch of dead gnats on the AC. It felt like I was going to fall through the tub. Lastly, the breakfast was stale bread and bagels with jelly, the individual at the front desk stated that there was no butter because the owner said it was too expensive.

Found roaches and spiders. The ac unit was old, an outlet was without plate and wasn’t safe.

This is a basic economy motel that says it has a continental breakfast, which is laughable, so I hope they take that information off the website. Fortunately, there is a great Wendy's breakfast awaiting you just a 1/2 mile down the rood. The owner is wonderful and is trying his best and at $ 56 for a decent king room was a bargain. I guess the thought of seeing 6 slices of bread, 2 bagels, warm OJ and cold coffee and an empty decaf pitcher just doesn't sit well, it's just embarrassing.

Please stop listing this hotel. Its quote filthy and awful. If i could submit photos i would

I was charged a completely different amount upon arriving and checking in

We didn’t got the room we paid for because we got an hour late due to driving from Orlando. We wanted to sleep for couple ours and be out before check out but because we didn’t made it before 3am the front desk person refuse to give us a room or the money back.

It was to be a 1 night stay with my 80 year old handicapped mother to visit her friends. That changed quick. As you walk in the eating area tables were full of dirty sheets and towels. The exit door to the outside did not need a key as it was broken. Got to the room, stains and holes everywhere. Blood stains on the lampshade and the refrigerator would not close. Rat poop in and by the ice machine. The lock on the room door did not work. Not to mention the smell of weed and smoke throughout the hotel, as well as people smoking weed right outside the exit door. Went to the front to speak with the owner and told him that we did not feel safe staying there and would like a refund. I brought up the fact that people were smoking weed right by the door and his answer was “as long as it’s not inside I don’t care what happens outside”. I asked again for a refund he stated “no”. He then proceeded to call the cops on me. Voices were never raised on either side so I was very confused why the cops were called. He did not even offer another room. The cops arrived and stated nothing they could do as it was a civil case I explained to them that I was not the one who called. The owner then came back outside while I was speaking to the cops and said that we could stay if we wanted to. Who would want to stay after just having the cops called on you for asking for a refund. Needless to say we went to the Best Western down the road, much better.

DRIVE AWAY! Walked in to check in, dirty sheets and towels all over the tables in the eating area. Outdoor locking door does not close. Smells like weed and smoke in hallways. Blood on lamp shades, stains everywhere. Lock on room door did not work. Rat crap in around ice machine, wish I could post pictures on here. Went and tried to get a refund of course that was denied. I took the loss and went to another hotel.
