Days Inn by Wyndham Selma

It advertises breakfast. Cold coffee and a bagel. Night staff was ok. Morning staff came out the office with a pillow, his hair all messy. He must of just woke up. The room I was in was filing. Was told housekeeping hasn’t been in. Overall terrible. Wyndham should drop this property.

Property is dry dark on arrival, does not appear to be open. From the lobby to the room reeked of cigarette smoke. Sheets were stained and there were dead bugs on carpet as if the room had not been vacuumed. Front desk person said he only had one key to our room. Upon checking out, I was asked if I smoked in the room? I DO NOT SMOKE AND THE ENTIRE BUILDING SMELLED LIKE CIGARETTES!! completely disgusted!!!This was a horrible experience overall.

The staff were friendly. No issues at all with employees. The room itself was beyond disgusting. There was trash and ponytails on the floor, you can tell the room had not been vacuumed or shower/bathroom wiped down. The second day as we were leaving, a roach came up on the counter from under the sink. The beds felt like cardboard. This was just extremely unpleasant.

The room was very comfortable and it’s very convenient for me to stay at this hotel. However, the shower did not work. I made the best of it and went on with my trip.

Good location for an overnight stop before continuing on to your next destination. Minutes from the highway. Pictures online very misleading, especially the breakfast. We were the first to arrive at breakfast to find that there were only 6 pieces of white bread, 6 bagels (3 white and 3 cinnamon/raisin), butter, cream cheese and coffee. THAT WAS IT!!! No tea, no fruit, no juice, no cereal, no muffins, no donuts and certainly no waffles, as illustrated on the hotel website! Ice and drink machine were out of commission, too. Room was very basic and dated, and carpets and curtains were old and in need of being replaced. The two staff members at the reception that we met were sweet and friendly. Would not stay here again, though.

The furniture was broken. They were dirty washcloths in the bathroom. The refrigerator was moldy. I told the front desk clerk that the couch was collapsed and broken and he said he already knew that, but didn’t care and it smelled terrible.

FOR THE PRICE IT WASN'T BAD FOR ONE NIGHT. MY HUSBAND SAID IT WAS REALLY RUN DOWN AND NEEDED A MAKEOVER. THE COFFEE CUPS IN THE MORNING WERE REALLY!!!! SMALL!!!!

Roaches

It had several roaches. They double billed me

The room was semi ok, nasty dirt in the rim of the tub to shower wall. Faucets dripped. Lights flickered. Said there was free breakfast and there was 2 slices of white bread and 2 bagels. NOTHING else, no juice either. Coffee but no milk or to go tops. Overall, i will not be staying at Days Inn ever again.
