Quality Inn Hartsville

The bathroom was dirty. I had to clean the toilet. I sat down to eat and roaches started coming out the woodwork. Baseboards was filthy. There was trash in a corner. It was pitiful. If it wasn’t due to the fact I’d loose money by canceling and booking somewhere else. I’m so disappointed and dissatisfied. This was not quality at Quality Inn. I have photos but I guess on here you can’t submit photos.

I was not able to check into the motel. No one was home, literally, arrived at the motel at 9:56 only to find the office door locked. A sign was posted that they were only accepting people with reservations and to come to room 111. I went to room 111 and no one was in the room. I then called the Quality inn number and no one answered. I did reach and answering machine and left word about my problem. I waited outside for over an hour. In the meantime I tried to get Hotels.com on the phone line. I couldn’t get a human to talk to. I was having trouble with my reservation number being accepted and after 45 minutes I gave up. I then called my credit card company to stop payment. It hadn’t hit the card so I was stymied yet again. Now, I had wasted almost two hours with trying to check in . I gave up and stayed in a flea bag motel down the street

Staff was great. There appeared to be a lot of extended-stay residents. Sidewalks were dirty. The dumpster was overflowing. There were rusty fixtures inside the room. The bedspread did not look clean.

BOOKED ROOM BECAUSE THEY HAD BREAKFAST. NO BREAKFAST. $35 FOR BREAKFAST AT SHONEYS. REFUND WOULD BE NICE.

The staff was fine Whoever Owen’s this property needs to go on a cleaning spree, paint, mow, pick up all the trash, get rid of the roaches. Glad we only spent one night.

Not clean at all. No one in the office to report the bed bug situation to. I’ve dealt with out-dated, basic, musty, sketchy, but NEVER experienced filthy. I can handle just about anything, but not filth.

The good: bed was comfortable, shower with hot water, a/c / heat worked, as well as frig. The bad: took 30 minutes to check in, security lock on door was broken, remote for tv was busted, shower had rusty remains of where handicap bar was broken off, light was broken and wire on it looked it had been chewed on, hole in bathroom where door handle had busted it out when opened too hard at some point. I slept, I showered so it met basic needs

It was infested with bedbugs. When I got up the next morning, I was coverit was infested with bedbugs. When I got up the next morning, I was covered from here to Tow.

My body is in so much pain from itching and irritation from bites from a dog. The bites swell me up. It is horrible. I want a full refund and I am so serious. I would never stay there again stay away.

It was good it was also in a good location to where I was going didn't have to drive too far to the stores or restaurants
