Roach infestation.

This property was a waste of our money and the horrible part is we booked online in advance like a month for a King Suite.as when we got there our roon was not even available. They gave us a standard room. If we turned over we would have both been in the floor. The bed was small for us and we are a nice size couple. The bath light didn't work. E had to use our cellphone as a light to try and take a shower. Thanks God we brought our own cleaning supplies, so we had to clean the bathroom before we did anything, the toilet seat was broke, they have roaches on the wall. The landscaping is horrible. They staff doesn't look professional at all. The pool needed cleaning and sanitized and wasn't working and out of service there. They have broken pieces of rocks everywhere and scared we was gonna bust our tires. They did not try to offer any kind of refund or even partial. I will never tell anyone to stay there. Thier rates are 151 a night for a nasty room and I would not give it 1 star. They need to tear down and rebuild. I was very disappointed especially driving 3 hours and we had to go buy out own wash cloths and towels as well. I didn t feel safe using the old ones in the room. If we wasn't so tired after going to the race that night. We would have drove back 3 hours and sleep better in our own home. And kep out money and used it a way better place or some shopping. Our weekend was not go well because of the horrible service at this hotel.

Very basic, no-frills hotel that offered a relatively clean place to sleep.

This hotel HAS ROACHES! There were roaches crawling on the wall of the room, across the floor and out of the tub faucet! The coffee pot provided in the room had MOLDY coffee pods in it, and management states there is No Housekeeping provided! This hotel is NOT what is advertised on the Expedia site! There is no free breakfast, not even coffee! There is no pool! There is no water park! The water park mentioned is not attached to the property, it is a 10 min drive away, it is not affiliated with the hotel in any way, and the (surcharge) mentioned is FULL admission, with not even a discount. There should be no mention of this water park in this advertisement except to be listed as "things to do" This is NOT a "hotel with water park"

The first room we were assigned was a disaster. We walked in and the bed was stripped with the dirty linens lying in the armchair and it reeked of cigarette smoke. The front desk attendant was very nice and got us changed to a different room. He even went with us and checked the room prior to us going in. The outside of the hotel was in a bit of disarray - not at all like the pictures that were on the site. There was trash piled around the back and the pool looked like a science experiment. The inside of our room was decent, exactly what we would expect for a hotel rated like this one. Not a bad place but definitely needs some updating, inside and out.

This hotel is garbage. Everything about this place is awful! We booked a 2 night stay and from the second we arrived the experience was the worst I’ve ever had. We were fraudulently charged at the hotel after booking and paying on Priceline. We brought this to the attention of the front desk clerk who was high as a kite only to be yelled at, somehow got blamed for her mistake, and told there is no one on site that can authorize refunds. When we questioned this a door was slammed in our face and that was the end of the conversation. We stayed the night assuming we could talk to a more reasonable employee in the morning, however although she was nice enough, could not help us. We continued for 2 weeks to attempt to have this money returned to us only to continuously be told no one is authorized to issue refunds. They refused to provide the name and phone number of the manager. Choice Hotels corporate said there is nothing they can do since it is “independently owned.” We finally filed a report with the police department and had our bank correct the issue. Now the rest - The hotel is filthy both inside and out, there is no breakfast as advertised whatsoever, and the pool had been shut down that week by the SC Health Department. DON’T EVER STAY HERE AND PLEASE TELL THOSE YOU KNOW TO AVOID ALSO!

Dirt accumulated around intake of air conditioner, safely bar in shower ripped off with two holes left in shower wall, desk but no chair (broken desk chair laying under steps to second floor) the soap the size of my thumb, toilet paper holder broken, and when we went to breakfast around 8:00 AM it was closed and the shift manager said there was nothing left and the excuse was someone wiped them out. The hotel was not even 1/4 occupancy if that so I doubt that they were overwhelmed with customers.
