Being a Hilton Inn Honors Member, we come to expect certain standards. We should have known as we walked into the front entrance that those standards were severely lacking at this Hampton Inn property. Walking up we found what looked like an employee’s smoking area with chairs and an ash tray. Yuck! Getting there late we were just wanting to get to our room. As I got into the shower, I noticed the toilet was not very clean nor was the shower. Definitely looked like it just needed to be replaced. Very low water pressure made what should have been a quick shower into a drawn out affair just trying to get the soap and shampoo rinsed off! The next morning we went down for breakfast only to find cold oatmeal, warm milk to drink. I requested ice for my drink only to be told the only ice machines working were on the 2nd and 3rd floors (I had already tried the ice machine on our floor (5th) but it didn’t work). As we were sitting there, the employees sat down to eat their breakfast! I have never ever seen employees sitting down to eat instead of replenishing the food or straightening the kitchen area. And, if you were trying to check out, you had to wait for that particular employee to stop eating and get up to help you. As I am sitting here reading the numerous negative reviews left online about this particular property going back as far as 2020, I have to say apparently NOTHING has been done to correct these issues! My advice to anyone reading these reviews, take heed!! Drive on down the road and find anywhere else but here to stay!! Hilton needs to revoke this franchise from their Hampton properties!!!
