Friendly front desk staff; pleasant stay

Check in had no record of my reservation. Beds were uncomfortable, not typical for a Hampton inn.

My fiancé and I stayed 1 night here on Christmas Eve while visiting family. The hotel in general as well as our room appeared very clean and had a pleasant ambiance. The bed was also comfortable. We did not use these facilities, but the hotel also has a gym and a heated indoor pool.

Greeted by a friendly face and the room was clean and comfortable.

The room needed vacuuming, the window treatments needed cleaning and the bed was not the quality we are used to at a Hampton. There was rarely anyone at the front desk.

Very disappointed. My bedroom was not clean (dead insect on the carpet, carpet did not feel clean as well as shower). One morning, I had no hot water and the receptionist had to restart the boiler but could not help much. The quality of the breakfast was poor, fruits and nuts were not replaced. The heater and fridge in the room is very noisy. The room I was in was close to the road and I could hear all the trucks and cars passing by, so not well insulated. There is no recycling in place, we throw everything into the same bin, we use plastic cutlery for breakfast. I did not enjoy my stay at all and thought that it was very overpriced.

We stayed here for one night this past weekend. I am not sure if this was originally built as a Hampton Inn or was another budget brand that has been rebranded as a Hampton Inn. We stayed here because this was the Hilton property that came up when searching the area and we stick with Hilton properties. We arrived late. I didn't see anyone in the lobby when I checked in and never saw any employees though I am sure there were some. I didn't need to see any employees or speak to anyone, so I can't judge the service. The hotel itself was clean and fine for one night. My one complaint was the rooms were pretty dark, and their 'cool' LED lighting didn't help. Also, the body wash hadn't been replenished in the shower, but thankfully we barely had enough to both take showers. We didn't eat breakfast as this was literally somewhere to run in and sleep and then leave. It's in a great location though!
