Hampton Inn Covington VA

We had to leave early in the morning before breakfast so the staff made us a few breakfast bags! We appreciated that very much!

This hotel is the most disappointing Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at. The room was dirty, smelled bad and poorly designed. The hotel itself was fair, but the breakfast was awful. The staff were never at the front desk when you needed them.

Everything except no hot tub

Super friendly staff, nicely decorated and helpful people when asked for assistance getting around the area.

Not necessarily a dislike, but since we came from the west coast and there is a time change, the hours of breakfast would have been nice if open longer.

Perfect little place to stay on your way along I-64. Distinctively decorated with a colorful modern flair. Staff were helpful. The laundry room was clean and bright. Breakfast delicious. Excellent shower and temperature control in the room.

Steve was extremely helpful , made my stay enjoyable. Great hotel employee.

Chump I mean Champ Patel the owner is discriminatory in addition his staff is unprofessional, uneducated and does not follow there own policy, I made this reservation MONTHS in advance called spoke to an employee the week before addressing my needs and concerns was assured everything was accommodating. Checked in after a long day at 8pm. Went to the room, then was in the pool area within 15 mins. Mind you the hotel was about 1/4 capacity and no one in the pool area. Within 20 mins front desk came down and instructed us the pool closed by 10-10:30 no issues. By 9:15 she came back down and said the owner would like us to leave. Confused I asked for the owner to come speak to me and she refused stating she would have to call the police. Citing others in my party did not have appropriate attire on. Boys/Men in shorts swimming. 2ndly she stated people had drinks in the pool. The pool was empty. There is a patio area outside where there was waters and gatorades none in the pool.

Stayed one night. Excellent customer service at the front desk during check in. Very clean facility. Breakfast was typical continental style, employees we on top of replenishing items. Would definitely recommend!

After leaving a horrible Howard Johnsons in Salem VA, the contingency I was with for storm restoration booked rooms at this Hampton Inn. What a relief to have a warm, clean, comfortable room. They were able to accommodate us for 5 nights without issue. They were flexible and allowed us to extend our stay as we needed to. One morning the breakfast was available early so we could get to Christiansburg to work.
