TownePlace Suites Indianapolis Park 100

This was our first year staying at this hotel. We always stayed at another area hotel for the US Nationals, but the hotel had really gone downhill and the area where the hotel is has become quite run down so we decided to switch. TownePlace was a nice change. The hotel was clean and convenient. The staff were great! We’ll be back next year for sure!

Would not honor the reservation because my husband made it under his name and at the last minute I had to go instead of him. We were in Indy for a soccer tournament. My 11-year-old son and I finally got to the hotel at about 9pm and the front desk basically said sorry we can't let you stay here because the reservation is under your husband's name and not yours.....then I said ok rebook it under my name and use the free reward gift certificate that it was booked under and she said she couldn't do that. WHY? Never gave me a real reason, said it was because of corporate. So the hotel staff and "corporate" would rather my son and I sleep in our car than accommodate us. The front desk could have cared less about us. I had my license with the same last name on the reservation, a credit card with my name and husband's name, and called my husband to have him talk to her and she was like sorry. I called a hotel down the street and they were able to accommodate us. Plus the place reeked of WEED. Thank God we ended up not staying here because the place was nasty with lots of shady people hanging out in the parking lot, and the service was TRASH!! This place is a dump. MARRIOTT DO BETTER!!!!!

Nice stay

Very nice and clean. We got a good night's sleep. The kitchen was convenient and came with everything you need. There is an outdoor pool for guests to use. Located right off the highway. Highly recommended

I’m not going to lie, I was not sure what to expect based on the mixed reviews. However, I have been pleased with my stay and have booked for multiple stays now when I travel into town for work. The rooms with a FULL kitchen are wonderful and it is really nice to have a gym with the essentials. Sometimes the hallway can have an odor but I have never had an issue with my room. Staff is also very friendly and helpful.

All the staff was kind and friendly. Lots of little hospitality things made our visit so pleasant. Our room was clean and comfortable. Thank you!

Room smelled smoky. Carpet in hallways dirty. Much below Marriott standards. Whole place run down and tired. Normally these are great places to stay at. Not this one. Doors needed key cards were not working so you didn’t need key cards. Not secure. Fire evacuation the first night and no compensation offered. Has Marriot given up on the facility?
