TownePlace Suites Indianapolis Park 100

We got in around 9pm and my son fell asleep. We tried showering before bed and realize there’s no hot water and little water pressure. We tell front desk and there’s no maintenance man tonight. There’s a pool so we thought we could wash off there. Only to be told we cannot. And they were aware of our hot water situation

Musty floors. And very well may have gotten bed bugs.

The room was clean and spacious. I was very impressed at how quiet the hotel was. There were other guests moving around and I didn’t hear them at all. Pool was clean and a good size. very pleased!!

Price and location.

The room at a odor to it. We were told to wash our own towels. Carpet was filthy and old, soap wasn’t attached to wall, kitchen was dirty. Excessive food stains. Dryer were out of order. Breakfast was limited. TV signal was horrible. Curtains were tore up so sunlight was coming thru in morning time. Overall bad experience and will not stay there again

Unfortunately, this hotel was a disappointment.  There were many unacceptable issues and I àm disappointed it is on Marriott,s list. Here are some of my concerns: 1. Hotel location and clientele.  I could not tell if some of the people standing around the were paying customers or transients or illegals. 2. Our room had an overwhelming odor like carpet shampoo....it really needs to be rinsed....made me cough during the night. 3.  The shower curtain was worn and had tares in it.  The towels were small and thin.  The bathtub had been repaired and the patches were visable and the bath sink had the a noticeable crack. 4. I just did not feel safe and  really feel your property was not up to Marriott standards.  Sorry!

We arrived in the middle of the night due to being delayed many hours by a bad snowstorm on the way down to Indy. When we arrived they assigned us a room, which was quite far to get to and we found the room was a disaster - trash left all over, no sheets on the beds but left in piles on the floor, a note to someone else who was not in our party (previous guest?), trashcans overflowing, no toiletries. We went back down and said we thought there was a mistake that they had given us a room never cleaned that day, but she insisted it was our correct room because their notes said it had been cleaned for us & assigned to us. I almost thought I was going to have to take her up to prove the state it was in, but she eventually gave us a different room. An hr later we got to the the other room, much cleaner but still food in the kitchen drain left from previous. Staff kept knocking on our door several times during the night saying they had to clean up mold or mildew in the bathroom and had reports of leaking (we had not called it in). I did see some whitish substance in the bathroom walls/doorframe but we were so exhausted we just wanted to sleep, not keep getting interrupted by them coming to try and work on it while we were there trying to sleep. We bypassed the showers given the white substance in the bathroom which could have been mold. The hotel was overall very aged and in poor shape, unlike other TownePlace Suites we have stayed at before.
