Wyndham Garden Anchorage Airport

My elderly mother with cognitive disabilities was supposed to stay there one night after getting off a flight in from Oregon. I couldn’t get a hold of her so after 8 hours past the time she landed in Anchorage, I went ahead and called the hotel. It took 45 minutes of them hanging up the calls instead of answering. When they finally answered my call, the guy was incredibly rude, told me he couldn’t tell me anything, and then hung up on me. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on the customer service. I’d stay literally anywhere else before I ever give Wyndham another cent.

Didn't stay for breakfast

No internet, very noisy in the room.

convenient location close to airport, nice and clean, good breakfast.

Beds were very comfortable and the breakfast provided was very decent! Their bath towels were very nice too.

Shower was visibly dirty. There were even caked soap remnants where the previous occupant’s soap bar had been. Counter and table tops showed dried swipes with what looked to be a dirty cloth. There were no towels in the pool area

Rooms were clean and comfortable staff is very nice and helpful... Love the Breakfast here!

Key cards wouldn't work on all outside doors... especially the one closest to our room

We’re not looking for perfection in a hotel. We want someplace clean and safe. When we experience more than that, we are pleasantly wow’ed. In this case, we knew we would be checking in late from viewing the aurora borealis. We were able to drop our bags off early, but we’re worried that somehow our reservation may be canceled. Bradley Patrick, the general manager insured us that everything would be A-OK. We didn’t get back to the hotel until about 3 AM and he was personally working the night shift. He not only insured we had a clean room, but when our first rideshare canceled the trip, he went out of his way to make sure that we made the next trip in our journey on time. It is those type of interactions that make a hotel special. He cares about his customers and also of his employees. He really goes above and beyond to ensure satisfaction.

Workers were nice, they had to deal with homeless or druggies and I feel bad for them! All pillows were the worst. Fire your plow guy! Accessible room was not accessible!!! Bathroom door opens incorrectly! Bench in bathtub was at end of tub and you can’t reach controls from there. Try taking a wheelchair around to the window side of bed… unacceptable for wyndome
