Truckee Donner Lodge

Very close to State Park and kayak/sup and Watercraft rentals. Clean rooms and lobby. Simple and tasty choices for breakfast. Very helpful team members for information about the area.

Perfect location. Donner creek behind the hotel with easy access for some fun fishing for our 9 year old son was awesome. Nice trails to enjoy.

Broken door handles and lights in both bedrooms we booked. The elevator got stuck with us inside multiple times. The pool and spa were both not working or available for use during our stay. Big let down for our 9 year old.

Easy to get to.

The bed was too soft. I could hear the person in the room next to us talking. Not sure if he’s a loud talker or the walls too thin.

Location was very nice and property was well kept

Front desk person (younger girl) was rude, seemed like I was a bother to her when I checked in. The pool was closed but we didnt receive any notification that it would be closed. That would hsve greatly impacted our decision to stay there, a pool was part of the reason for choosing this hotel. The room was outdated, there was a large stain on the chair and the carpet felt dirty. Paying over 300 per night for a room, I would expect higher quality in all areas.

I love this resort, is the second time that my husband and stayed here. Very confortable room. But I'll say the TV needs to be upgrade
