Santa Marina, a Luxury Collection Resort, Mykonos

good service, amazing breakfast included. location was a little out of the way as it was on the end of the island, but there was a free shuttle to town, easy access to the water taxi to access nearby beaches, and plenty of bus service, and the private beach was very much worth the location. Staff was very friendly, restaurants all very good, and bar tended Alex was amazing, she took great care of us!

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. Wold not change a thing. Picked us up at airport, had a lovely sunset dinner by the sea and the beauty continued. Beautiful private beach, amenities and so very peaceful. Wonderful buffet brunch each morning overlooking the sea. Will stay again next visit which will,probably be next year.

Comodo per la spiaggia, anche se troppo ventilato.

Lage vom Hotel perfekt. Restaurant im Hotel super- leider etwas teuer....

Upon check-in, we were served a delightful welcome cocktail and were told that we had been upgraded to a nicer room. The room was comfortable, clean and well decorated. The private patio was quite large with a beautiful water view. The staff were attentive and the breakfast served each morning was beyond expectations. The service on the beach was lacking (we had to go up to the bar instead of being served on the beach loungers) but it was the end of the season and they only had one person working so we didn't mind. There were not enough people at the beach to need two people.

Wonderful hotel in almost every way, and only private beach in Mykonos. Couple of warnings: 1) if you dislike stairs, there are a lot to get to the beach. 2) Semi-frequent bus service to Mykonos Town (but you can get cheap taxis). Ornos is nice but small. Nonetheless, definately recommend.

Nulla da dire sulla posizione e sul cibo, anche se i ristoranti sono un po' cari. Pessima pero' la gestione della spiaggia con il 90% degli ombrelloni riservati dall'addetto anche ai proprietari degli yacht ormeggiati nella baia, per cui pur essendo ospiti dell'hotel ci si sentiva rispondere che non c'era posto. Se a questo si aggiunge che bisognava prendere da se' i teli da mare e che pur scendendo presto a riservare un ombrellone lo si trovava poi occupato, si ha l'idea dello sconcerto e della rabbia con cui si iniziava ogni giornata (tanto da integrare gli estremi per vacanza rovinata). Le camere sono arredate con sufficienza e con un condizionatore rumoroso posto di fianco alla testiera del letto e non hanno privacy perche' la terrazza di pertinenza e' attraversata dal personale e dagli altri ospiti che di tanto in tanto fanno anche capolino. Non e' un 5 stelle e non vale il prezzo che si paga.

Um es gleich vorweg zu nehmen, wir würden das Santa Marina von der Lage und vom Angebot her jederzeit wieder wählen. Dass wir ein ZImmer erhalten haben welches nicht der Grösse eines Superior-Standart entsprochen hat, hat uns negativ überrascht! Auf unsere Intervention hin, dass wir ein anderes Zimmer wünschen, hat man uns mitgeteilt, dass das Hotel ausgebucht ist. Im Nachhineien konnten wir aber feststellen, dass dies nicht der Fall war. Entäuschende Haltung eines 5-Sterne Hauses. Vermutlich ist das ja so, dass die "guten" Zimmer primär den Reiseveranstalter zugeteilt werden und was übrig bleibt denjenigen welche über hotels.com gebucht haben.

Albergo sicuramente di lusso anche se le camere non sono arredate come un cinque stelle. Sicuramente più adatto alle famiglie che intendono trascorrere la maggior parte del tempo all'interno del complesso che è dotato di due piscine, due ristoranti e spiaggia privata.

While we loved the location and hotel itself, the service was WAY below marginal. We had to beg to get drinks by the pool and other than a couple of instances when we were at a restaurant everything took 3 times longer than it should have to get food or drink. While I think the hotel is a nice place to stay, they could get rid of half their staff if they just had 5 people actually working hard around there -- probably would be able to drive the price of stay down too.
