Santa Marina, a Luxury Collection Resort, Mykonos

We enjoyed our 5 days here immensely. The resort is in a superb location, we loved being in Ornos and walked into the local village every evening for dinner. The staff were efficient and courteous. The breakfasts were long and leisurely and the food was of a good quality. The only negative was that we wished to go into Mykonos each day for a walk around the sights, and the hotel only has one shuttle into the town during the day. Surely, with the amount that we pay for a room, and the amount of people staying there, they could organise a shuttle into town a little more often than once daily. Since the town was only 5 mins away by car, it's not too much to ask.

Ottima posizione panoramica, servizio colazione e ristorazione di qualità. La spiaggia privata dell'hotel è una delle più carine dell'isola e come posizione è protetta dal vento quindi perfetta.

Just remember this hotel is built on a hillside, and if you want ocean views you need to be on a hill side and yes there are stairs you must climb to get you from point a to point b. The private beach at the resort has finer sand than Paradise (which was very coarse). The private beach was situated such that it blocked most of the winds but not all, which was just fine. The included breakfast buffet was more than adequate to get you through the day. The Air conditioning and internet were a bonus. There are no pay phones, so you'll need to pay the minute fee if you plan on using your calling card. Ornos bay is just 3 blocks down the hil, an easy walk for lunch or dinner or to get the bus. However, I would recomend paying for a taxi 10euro to Mykonos town, or 14euro to paradise. would recomend.
