Amber and Margaret were tremendous. They helped accomadate my stay with smiles and happiness.

Breakfast was good Staff very nice

It’s the same as all hotels, no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Lighting around sink and mirrors poor.

Front desk gal was very welcoming! Pleasant and informative. However tv was difficult to use(even the front desk gal came up and helped) (she was great) and the phone didn’t work at all. No big deal we weren’t going to use it. Breakfast was good.

We would not stay in this hotel again due to issues identified below but we understand it also must be hard financially for a hotel of IHG status to operate in a smaller town in Nebraska. There were enough positives (and I'll state those 1st) for us to rate the hotel as a 3: The manager immediately responded to me personally after the negative review I placed on the IHG website. Check-in staff recognized our IHG Platinum status upon check-in verbally and with an automatic upgrade to a very nicely laid out king suite, which had an almost completely separate room, with very large TVs in both the bedroom and extra room. The king bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the room darkening shades. Breakfast was also done well; we like HIX breakfasts better than Hampton Inn. The primary negative was everything about the bathroom, which had major maintenance and cleanliness issues, e.g. cracked porcelain in toilet and sink, ugly stains under the toilet rim, dirty and cracked caulking on floors and above the old tub/shower combination, dirty floors, and a gross toilet plunger in shopping bag next to the toilet. We couldn't use the AC unit due to the musty odor when it was on; there was a slight musty odor throughout the hotel but maybe that was because of the agricultural location. Parking next to the hotel was very limited and seemed to be shared with the MyPlace hotel; we were concerned about the safety of our vehicle.

Everything was good with the hotel; even the breakfast was the same offered among other hotels like eggs, sausage, bacon, etc., but the lady serving breakfast seems to get annoyed that people actually eat breakfast; she makes you’re well aware of it.

Staff was very pleasant. Nice rooms. Good breakfast.
