Breakfast was ok

Wasn’t a lot to like about the hotel. No hot water. No jug to boil water. Internet was very poor ,

Chequers is a very poorly managed hotel and poorly maintained. We stayed for 4 nights and there was no hot water on the property, the elevator was broken, the bathroom drain was very poorly designed so there was water all over place. There was crack in the sliding doors which was unsafe. There was no information told about having extra guest which was unfair because I could have just booked another room for the price I paid. Definitely the worst hotel I have ever stayed no wonder the hotel was ghost town during our stay. I have stayed on 100 different hotel and motel, and I can definitely say a motel is better than this.

Advertising 75 inch tvs but u have 32 inch only in all rooms

The aircon is awesome, but very poor internet stability. Very small pillows, asked for more pillows they advised its an additional 200 peso per pillow. Need more dishes for the suite. They never in 1 week came to do housekeeping.

Our 2nd time and we chose this hotel since they're pet friendly. The staff are all very friendly.

Short-staffed, had to ask for a clean up on our 2nd day and staff came late in the afternoon. The floors leading to the pool area were wet and unattended which could cause accidents. Also, while we were having bfast, the repair crew was drilling on top of our table, roof area of the pool. :(

The location is great. Very close to places we needed to visit. The hotel staff were friendly.

Not to be offensive, but the room I reserved was not really the one provided. Causing extra charges during our stay. Small stuff i.e. a piece of bread during breakfast, coffee, etc. had to be on additional charge. Safety measures need to be improved to avoid slip, trips, and falls..

Location and staff were good!

The beds were very uncomfortable, also, I paid for a deluxe room, I had a tv in the bedroom, however there was no plug socket to turn it on, also, there was not one plug socket in the bedroom for us to charge our phones, I’ve never seen that before. Also, in both rooms we had, the wifi only worked in the main lounge area, it stopped working in the bedroom. That was quite inconvenient for us as the other party was from abroad so we needed wifi to communicate. In the morning of our last night, we was woken up at 8am with drilling outside, we were not warned about this. Usually this type of work doesn’t start till 9am or later. I was relying on a good sleep as I had to drive to manila.

The location is fantastic. The staff respond quickly to issues and they are courteous. The room is spacious

1. The lights in the room are a bit dark —— they do not give a homey ambience (perhaps use warm white, a little higher wattage) 2. The ref wasn’t working (they changed it promptly from an unoccupied room), the light bulb of the rangehood was busted (they installed a lamp instead), there were 2 huge cockroaches we had to get rid off 3. We had to be transferred to another room as the first one assigned to us had a lot of issues including a broken lavatory sink 4. The pool area was too slippery! We almost had an accident twice. We think the tiles need some scrubbing.
