Dan Panorama Jerusalem Hotel

The view from my room (the attached image is a zoom view into the old City) and the availability of newspapers in English at breakfast. Staff was helpful almost all the time. The central location is a plus.

Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Das Personal, die Rezeption, die Zimmer, die Sauberkeit – alles war sehr gut. Das Schlafsofa, auf dem die Kinder geschlafen haben, war jedoch nicht besonders bequem. Außerdem war das Zimmer als Familienzimmer nicht sehr geräumig. Wir haben nur eine Nacht dort verbracht und dafür war es ausreichend. Wenn wir uns entschieden hätten, mehrere Nächte zu bleiben, wäre es unserer Meinung nach zu eng gewesen.

Overall we had a positive experience here. We stayed for 4 nights. The highlight for us was the shower, which was excellent—very hot water, great water pressure. Didn’t think the bed was super comfortable but it was okay. The breakfasts were good. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had Shabbat dinner at the hotel and it was incredibly expensive. The carnivores in my family were very happy with the dinner. I’m a vegetarian and while there were many salads, the hot food was mostly meat. There was a fish dish that I tried which was pretty bad. But there was so much in the salad area that it was fine. On Shabbat afternoon the lobby was full of families like us, sitting around playing cards or other games, and that was fun. I would probably stay here again.

Just ok. Well below Dan Hotel level of hotels and service. Rooms are old and many elements are not functional. Bath/shower is not working properly and tissue holder is broken. Waiting to complete the checkout as only one person is servicing the guest!!!! When I checkin, no smile from any employee. Breakfast room is not clean and no real service available. Really sad to see it. As a real fan of Dan hotel, one of the worst experience at this brand.
