"Careworn and outdated"

Stayed here out of loyalty to Hilton and the convenience to the airport as we had an early morning flight. Should have paid attention to the map as it was sandwiched between a used car lot and a park and ride facility. Not appealing first impression. The bright spot of the whole visit was being greeted warmly at the front desk. First impression of the inside though was very blahh….no atmosphere at all. Our room was super careworn/ragged. Very dark and outdated. Ceiling was obviously patched and patched poorly at that. Bathroom was dark, even when fully lit. Cabinetry in bathroom was damaged. Grout in tiles needs to be redone and was missing in spots. I’m assuming that this was typical of the rest of the rooms. If that’s the case, it’s time to rebrand to something lesser and remodel the whole building. Being a Hilton property, I expected better.

First room the floor was sticky so they changed us to a room a few doors up. Was better. The property is an older holiday in that was updated. But those rarely do much more than new carpet, furniture updates and freshening up the decor. The plumbing is still 40+ years old. Sink and tub did not drain well. It was just a night but the hotel in new clothes still has some bad knees… on the upside the cookies are tasty!

Great shuttle to the airport that starts at 4:00 AM and i belive is pretty often his trips perfect for me. They have a Bar Restaurant with good selection
