Quality Inn Huntersville near Lake Norman

Came in on a late flight into Charlotte while en route to Greenville. This place is old and dirty. Needs upgrades. I could not wait until morning to check out. They ask people to review them on TripAdvisor but have they taken a serious look at the condition of this hotel. The lock on the sliding window did not lock. Not even sure having a huge 4th flr window that opens is even up to code. I do not recommend

When you first come in the front entrance look up in the ceiling and it’s broken is coming down and you can see it as plain as day. The ice machine in the lobby don’t work, but other than that everything else is good.

Breakfast was very poor, most of the food was empty and no attendent even before 1 hour of closing.

The hotel told me that they over booked at 7:00 PM and did not have a room. They ssent me to another hotel they owned which was a Best Western assured me that it was an upgrade and that they would meet the price we booked at. He never contacted the people at Best western. .Best Western told me that they could not match the price that they did not have a code to bill me at. I agreed at that point to pay the modest difference and moved on. The Room had a stained couch curtain for the closet TV did not work coffee maker had no coffee or condiments. The breakfast had no juices only water came out no coffee a coffee pot on counter with cloudy and stone cold coffee full of sediment food was empty and no one seemed to be serving the breakfast bar. Other guest complained to the front desk who apparently did nothing to solve the problem . She just walked to back room and turned around and walked back to the front desk. At 1 AM there was a commotion outside in hall that involved several people very loud sounded like downtown bar room at closing. The halls were trashed in morning . just not a good experience.

Absolutely disgusting! Stunk of urine, bad mold, broken toilet, no heat or hot water.

The staff is very unprofessional. They didn't know what rooms were clean. Then tacks on charges at check even though I paid online. The key card didn't work so had to walk around the building to get it fixed. The TV has a defective line on screen
