Quality Inn Huntersville near Lake Norman

Do not stay here!! Disgustingly filthy!!

When traveling we generally stay at Quality Inns. This particular Inn was a little undesirable. The toilet wouldn't flush without us using the plunger, which is not our job. The shower was a walk-in and was difficult to get the shower head situated so the water wouldn't spill out on the floor, very hard to use. Had we been truly handicapped it would have been impossible to use. We had to ask for wash cloths and hand towels. When checking out the girl at the desk would not give us a receipt because she said it was not on our credit card but it clearly was, we got billed for it. We may consider using a different hotel chain in the future.. The breakfast was good, the only positive thing about our stay there

Fifty! Stay away! Customer service is awful. Two towels for 4 people? No facecloths or hand towels. Are you kidding me! Had to wait all day for towels, which I had to go get. Toilet was clogged and they handed me a plunger! Hair in the refrigerator. Hair in the shower. Couldn’t use the microwave because of the fifth! The smell of not only the room but the hotel in general is disgusting. Just don’t do it!!

The pictures are deceptive. This hotel is old in need of cleaning and repairs. Out tv remote didn’t work. We booked a room with double beds and we’re only given 2 towels and questioned when we asked for additional. Our toilet got clogged and we were given a plunger to unclog it. There are people living in the hotel and children roaming the halls and parking lot in pajamas.

The staff in the lobby was friendly, but unfortunately my room had trash still in the bins and no toilet paper in our restroom. I'm not sure if our room was cleaned before my stay, but for the price, I would have at least appreciated the bins be emptied and toilet paper available.
